Mrs. Martha Hunt
Martha Ann Ingram (Latimer) Hunt, age 89, passed away on Saturday December 21, 2024. Martha was born on March 27, 1935, to Anson and Ruth Ingram at their home in Collin County near Blue Ridge, Texas. She was one of eight children, five boys and three girls. She spent most of her childhood living on a farm in the county where she was born. She married James Kenneth Latimer for 8 yrs. This union produced 2 boys and 1 girl. Kenneth Wayne Latimer, James Ricky Latimer, and Vicky Denise Latimer. In August of 1964 she married James Harold Hunt. This union produced 1 daughter Dewanna Yvonne Hunt born March 29, 1968. Harold adopted Kenny, Ricky, and Vicky, giving them the Hunt name.
Martha worked at Texas Instr. while living in the Dallas area. Moving to Hope, Arkansas she worked at an area agency generation plant, Hope Endland Calmaine Foods, Hudson Hatchery, Burns Security as a captain and retired.
Marha was a member of Southside Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved working with the youth and entertaining hayrides and wiener roasts on their farm. She loved her family and neighbors and helped all she could. She loved her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. She loved her plants and crafts. She hosted an exchange student from Germany.
She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Kenneth Latimer, her “beloved husband” James Harold Hunt, mother and father, brother Jimmy Ingram, brother J.E. Ingram, brother Billy Charles Ingram, Brother Earl Ray Ingram, brother Johnny Ingram, and sister Mildred Hargrove, great granddaughter Lexi Nicole Vines.
She is survived by her son Kenneth (Latimer) Hunt and wife Marsha of Hope, son James Ricky (Latimer) Hunt and wife Gwen of Bodcaw, daughter Vicky Denise (Latimer) Hunt-Vines and husband Ronnie of Hope, daughter Dewanna Yvonne (Hunt)(Golden) Burrer and husband Loren of Hope, grandchildren Jonathon Hunt and Michelle of Oita-Oita, Japan, Tabatha and Pal Rhoder of Hope, Laura and Brent of South Carolina, Kayla and Shane Bowen of Florida, Lacretia and Chris, Waylon Lewallen of Hope, Nathan and Brittany of Hope, Marie and Jimmy Dove of Glenwood, Isaac and Erica Golden of California, Ston and Amber Golden of Cabat, Steana Golden of Sulfur Springs, great grandchildren Misako, Mei, Alyssa, Payton, Brady, Colton, McKenna, Noah, Ava, Micah, Gracie, Shelby, Makynzie, Brennan, Hunter, Abigail, Damien, Aiden, Chelsea, Breana, Alex, Alyvia, Adilynn, Attalie, Ashley, Cache, Anilese, Roman, Malaiah, Callie, Braxlee, Skylar, Alex, Wade, Sister Barbara Baird of Corinth, Texas, sister in law Laquetia of West Minister, TX, and Sharon Igla of Michigan and Mildred (Mickey) Reagan of Carrolton TX, special friends like Sons David Wilburn and wife Becky of Hope, Jimmy McBride and wife Michelle of Hope, many nieces and nephews and church family and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Service will be on Saturday January 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Spring Hill Christian Church with Bro. Revel Kidd officiating and a potluck after.
