Two Injured in Explosion at Danson’s in Hope Industrial Park

Two people were injured in an explosion Monday (12-23) at Danson’s in the Hope Industrial Park at Oakhaven.  According to Hope Fire Chief Todd Martin, firemen received the call at 3:40pm.  Firemen were still onsite around 5:30pm due to some smoldering in a bin at the plant.  Chief Martin said the two injured were airlifted with at least one going to LSU in Shreveport.  The cause of the explosion was not known.
