One killed, two injured in ATV crash

SPRING HILL – Arkansas State Police has released a preliminary report on a fatal ATV wreck that happened December 30th near Spring Hill.

State Police say a 2019 Polaris Ranger was traveling south on Hempstead County Road 5, when it left the roadway, entered the ditch on the west side of the roadway, colliding with a culvert and overturning onto the driver’s side.

One minor was killed and two injured. The Spring Hill Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched and begin rendering aid until Pafford EMS arrived. SHVFD established a lnding zone at the Spring Hill High School football field with the two injured being flown to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Trooper Jacob Haynie investigated. It is the policy of the Arkansas State Police to not release the names of minor victims involved in motor vehicle accidents.
