Rosston City Council

The Rosston City Council met in the Rosston City Hall on Monday (1-13). The meeting was a quick one only lasting for approximately 20 minutes. The budget report was discussed and approved. The total budget for January was $288,108.68.

Johnny Jensen, the fire chief was at the meeting to assist in the discussion of the purchase of a new fire tanker. The city council voted to approve the purchase and a check was written out in the amount of $12,500.  The new Fire Tanker is a 98 International 4600

Everyone has been made aware of the water rates increase taking effect this month. Mayor Dale Quarles reminded everyone about the increase.
