Southwest Arkansas Development Alliance recognized at conference

LITTLE ROCK – Southwest Arkansas Development Alliance, SADA, accepted an award at the Arkansas Municipal League conference last week. SADA was recognized as a Trendsetter City by Arkansas Business during the luncheon. Hope was awarded with the honorable mention in Education Workforce Development as it is the center of the SADA region.
SADA recognized that students lacked awareness of the career opportunities throughout southwest Arkansas. Local economic developers wanted to bridge the gap between student education and local industries, encouraging our youth to take interest in industrial career opportunities in the Southwest Arkansas region.
SADA represents development and education organizations in the following counties: Howard County, Miller County, Hempstead County, Lafayette County, Nevada County, Little River County, Sevier County, and Columbia County.
