The Ozan Rural Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire Wednesday (1-29) on Hempstead County Road 27. The fire started in the attic and filled the house with smoke. Firefighters from Ozan and Yancey were able to quickly locate the fire and put it out. The Ozan RVD thanks Yancey for their assistance.
