Mr. Estell Hendrix Sr.

Mr. Estell Hendrix Sr. (74) of Lynwood, California moved from labor to reward on January 31. 2025, in Long Beach, California. Mr. Hendrix was born on December 20, 1950, to the late Isaiah B. Hendrix and Katie (Lafayette) Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix was an entrepreneur/business owner in the Building/Construction industry for 48 years. He graduated from Yeager High School in 1969. He attended the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (UAPB) and earned a degree in Industrial Arts Education. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved football and Baseball. He also loved Motown-Soul music especially Smokey Robinson. He was top shelf when it came to gardening and shooting pool.

Mr. Hendrix was a native of Fulton, Arkansas and confessed Jesus as his Savior at an early age. Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by his Father Isaiah B. Hendrix, his Mother Katie (Lafayette) Hendrix, his Brother Larry Hendrix, his Sister Deborah Carol Hendrix.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Annie Lee Hayden of Lynwood, California. Four Daughters, Monique Johnson (Michael) of Fulton, Arkansas, Beverly Gulley of Fort Worth, Texas, Kelly Hayden of Compton, California, and Margie Yoneshige (Al) of Waialua, Hawaii. Five Sons, Estell Hendrix Jr. of Carson, California, Jermaene Hendrix (Melissa) of Lynwood, California, Ronald Hayden of Lynwood California, Albert Lazo (Ursula) of Paul Valley, Oklahoma, Michael Marquez of Long Beach, California. Three Brothers, Sammie Earl Hendrix (Linda) of Hempstead, Texas, Isaiah Hendrix of Fulton, Arkansas, Jefferey Donnell Hendrix (Cynthia) of Compton, California. Three Sisters, Frances Hendrix of Fulton, Arkansas, Irene Hendrix Porter of Compton, California, and Mary Ruth Hendrix of Fulton, Arkansas.

Services for Mr. Hendrix will be as follows:

Visitation: February 14th, 2025, 3:00 p.m., to 5:00 p.m. at Charity Baptist Church, 5210 Highway 67, Fulton, Arkansas 71838.

Funeral Service: February 15th, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Charity Baptist Church, 5210 Highway 67, Fulton, Arkansas 71838. Pastor Jessie Henry will serve as the Officiant and Minster Ronnie Keener will serve as the Eulogist under the direction of the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Staff. The funeral service will be live-streamed.

Interment: Washington Hill Cemetery 395 Nevada 220, Prescott, Arkansas 71857.
