Henry Lee Hakes “Red”

Henry Lee Hakes “Red”, 78, passed away February 23, 2025. He was born January 5, 1947, to Jessie and Myrtle Hakes in Texarkana, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Hakes and Myrtle Cooper, two brothers, Grady Rufus and Jessie L. Hakes.

Henry is survived by his wife, Isabell Hakes, daughter, Joyce Cox Cochran (Robbie), and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 27 at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel from 5pm-7pm.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 28 at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel at 2pm with burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
