Mary Lee Brown

Mary Lee Brown was born on December 23, 1929, in Azar, Arkansas to the late Lee Roy and Gurtha Brown. She departed this life on February 17, 2025, at Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas surrounded by her family.

Mary Lee confessed her love for Christ at an early age at Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church and remained until her health declined. She firmly believed in trusting and serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters; one daughter, Evelyn Brown Rudd; two sons, Spencer and Richard Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Harold Brown of Sacramento, CA; two daughters, Ruby English of Hope, AR and Lorraine Briggs (Eddie) of Lewisville, AR; twenty grandchildren and a host of great-grands, great-great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special niece and nephew, Sandra and Cornell Lockett.
