Mikeal “Mike” Allen Skaggs

Mikeal “Mike” Allen Skaggs, 71,of Emmet passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Little Rock, AR.

Mr. Skaggs was born on May 23, 1953, in Greely, Colorado to his parents, Glocus and Dona Black Skaggs. He was a self-employed farmer, owning cows and chickens. He loved to hunt, fish, and being on the lake. Mr. Skaggs was known as a Godly man, who never met a stranger, and loved to talk.

He was preceded in death by parents; two brothers; and one sister.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Sandy Skaggs; two daughters, Burbon Avery, Britney Baxley (Randy); five grandchildren, Nicole Thomas, Abbye Adams, Breanna Haddix, Baylee Haddix, and Will Baxley; seven great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
