Leadership Nevada County Holds History Session

Leadership Nevada County held its History session on March 13th. The morning
started off at the Nevada County Depot and Museum. Jamie Simmons the Curator for the museum spoke to the class on the history of Nevada County and the class toured the facility. The class then took a driving tour and visited several historic places in Nevada County including the Old City Jail, Prairie De Ann, and Moscow Church and Cemetery. The class then left for Historic Washington State Park and had lunch at Williams Tavern Restaurant there at the park. The class toured several of the historic homes, dipped candles at the candle shop and was able to see a forging demonstration at the black smith shop.
