Mr. Donald Lee Conway

Mr. Donald Lee Conway, age 70, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his residence.
Donald Lee Conway was born October 21, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, the 1st son of Mitchell and Martha Conway Jr. Donald accepted Christ as a young man and was baptized at Cannon Baptist Church. He attended Clark Elementary, Whitaker Jr. High and graduated from Flint Southwestern High School, “Class of 1972.” He ran on the Cross Country Team and did very well with it.
Shortly after on Oct 25,1972, he was drafted into the United States Army. He served 6 years active mostly based in Germany. He continued to serve as an active member of Army reserves until 1991. Alone with that, for the years to follow after his return the Army. He went on to attend Electronics Trade School. Donald was employed at Meijer’s and a couple of small parts plants.
From his early days and throughout his life. He was into music and the equipment that he listened to it on back in the days of turntables, tape decks, receivers, amplifiers, brands like Marantz, Bose, and Samsuri. Other than music, he liked to keep his car clean and watching action gangster movies. But most of all, be there to assist his parents to have the best golden years any loving parent should have.
Donald was a loving, dedicating caring son, bother, nephew, uncle and friend. Without saying, he will truly be missed.
Donald Lee Conway leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Martha A. Conway; 2 brothers, Ronald D. Conway and Gerald L. Conway; 2 nieces, Tamara and De’Asha Darrough, all of Flint; 2 nephews, Jorand and Lloyd Conway, both of Mt. Pleasant, MI; 3 aunts, Lela Miller, Ula Conway, both of Flint and Vernice Stuart; 3 uncles, Lee V. Stuart, both of Lawton, OK, Jacob Stuart and Sherman Perkins of Flint; cousins from the Baker, Gamble, Keels, Mixon and Perkins families; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Sonya M. Randle and Bobby Grace.
Donald was preceded in death by her father, Mitchell Conway Jr., and brother, Carter D. Conway.
