Janice Adelaide (Fore) May, 78, of Prescott

She was born on May 28, 1946 to George Herman Fore and Mary Pauline (Munn) in Prescott, Arkansas. 

Janice was a graduate of Prescott High School and East Texas State University.  She retired from Potlach Corporation after over forty years of service where many life-long friendships were formed and was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church. 

Janice married her husband of 59-years, Jerry Dean May, on July 2, 1965 and they had one daughter Jerri Carol (May) Glass. 

She was affectionately known to her grandsons, granddaughters in law and great-great grandchildren as “Nee” a name she loved and cherished each and every moment. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Herman and Mary Fore, and a beloved brother George William Fore. 

Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband Jerry Dean May of Prescott, daughter Carol (Roger) Glass of Magnolia and two grandsons Joshua (Anastasiia) Glass of Fayetteville and Jacob (Yanis) Glass of Jacksonville, Florida. 

The family would like to express their most sincere appreciation to the doctors and medical staff at UAMS for the exceptional care she received. 

A service to honor Janice’s memory will be held Saturday morning March 29th at Central Baptist Church in Prescott.  Visitation will begin at 10 with the service at 11.  Bro Roy Johnson will officiate.
