DAR Holds Reception for History Essay Winners

Their teacher, Tracy Rucker, presented participation certificates to all that entered the contest.  The following local grade level winners were presented with a certificate, a pin and a flag from the DAR chapter.  L to R – Averie Jackson, 7th grade; NiYunee Anthony, 6th grade; Hadley Ratcliff, 5th grade and the state winner for 8th grade was Arden Gonzales.   Arden will receive her state award at the Arkansas State DAR Conference in Little Rock March 27-28, 2025.  All students and their family members were treated to punch and cupcakes to end the ceremony.
