Spring a Time to Till! presented by the Nevada County Master Gardeners

PRESCOTT – The Nevada County Master Gardeners would like to invite fellow gardeners and plant enthusiasts to join them on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at The Barn at Willow Oak Acres located at 2073 US Highway 371 West in Prescott for a morning of informative speakers, good food, door prizes, silent auction and a fantastic plant sale.
The day’s activities begin at 8:00 A.M. with registration, brunch, plant sale, and silent auction. There are two speakers this year. We have Sabrina Childs, a Ball Seed representative, that will speak about new seeds and plants available this year. Minnie Hahn, Senior Manager of Design and Display, at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs will speak about landscape design.
You will be given plenty of opportunity to browse the plant sale before 9:00 A.M. welcome, during the two breaks and after the seminar. The plant sale is available to registered attendees only. Registration is $25.00 per person, pre-register by calling Betty Jones 501-627-8341 or email bjones107@yahoo.com. You may also visit the Nevada County Arkansas, Master Gardener’s Facebook page, see the February 7th post concerning the seminar and scan the comments for a copy of the flyer and registration.
Our local Tri-Service organization will be selling a chicken salad sack lunch that is available for $10.00 (pre-order only). All proceeds from the sale of sack lunches funds Tri-Service support of local community organizations.
We hope that you will join us, rain or shine, on Saturday, April 12th and spend a morning with like-minded people, listening to speakers known to be experts in their field, and browsing a large variety and quantity of quality plants. All proceeds from the seminar and plant sale support Nevada County Master Gardener sanctioned community projects.
