Mr. Quentin (Big D) DeShawn Powell

Mr. Quentin (Big D) DeShawn Powell was born September 18, 1991, to Dale Powell, Sr. and Victoria Staggers at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas.

Quentin attended Blevins High School and was a graduate of Class of 2009. He enjoyed basketball, football, wrestling, fishing and playing video games. He was a gentle giant. Shawn loved the New England Patriots. He was also a huge fan of the Lakers.

After graduation, he worked at ROC in Hope, Arkansas, where he met many friends.

Quentin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Quincy and Mamie Staggers and paternal grandparents, J.P. and Lucille Powell.

Quentin leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Victoria Phillips; his father, Dale Powell, Sr., one sister, Francesca Johnson; two brothers, Dale Powell, Jr. and Nathan Powell; a special cousin, Omarion Staggers; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
