Breaking: Significant storm damage in Guernsey

GUERNSEY – Authorities are on the scene in the Guernsey area assessing major storm damage, that has inflicted major damage to the Guernsey Volunteer Fire Department building and a poultry farm, according to Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton.

Unknown at this time if the damage was caused by a tornado, but the National Weather Service in Shreveport, LA had issued a Tornado Warning for the area this morning.

This is a developing situation. Roads are impassable in the area due to storm damage and flooding.
