Hope Kiwanis Hears Program on Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Children’s Advocacy Center
The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Breanne Bradshaw and Brittney Wren on Tuesday (4-8). Bradshaw is the Chief Advancement Office with CASA and the Children’s Advocacy Center. Wren is the Volunteer Recruiter. CASA’s mission is to provide hope, healing, and justice for children who have experienced child abuse or neglect. The two organizations share a building. Both serve Hempstead County. Last year they collectively served almost 1,700 children and their family members. The C.A.C. mission is to unite multidisciplinary team members and community partners to ensure hope, healing, and justice for child abuse victims and their families.
There are children in Hempstead County who need a CASA volunteer but don’t have one. If you’d like to learn more, phone 803-792-1030.
