OYEA Hosts Coffee in Prescott

The Prescott OYEA (Organization for Youth Education in Agriculture) held a community coffee on Tuesday (4-8). OYEA operates Prescott’s farm raising animals including rabbits, goats, pigs and cows. Rabbits are easy small animals to start with and goats are easier than pigs which get big fast.
OYEA has been going for 8 years. It built the buildings and the district provided the education hiring an animal science instructor, Dennis Guidry. The Board has 7 members. On hand was David Rider, field representative to Tom Cotton showing his support for the program.
