Weather Service updates Bluff City area tornado track

SHREVEPORT, LA – Using imagery and derived products made available through the NASA Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) Program, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and the NASA Disasters Program, we have revised the 3/14/2025 tornado track in Nevada County. The track was extended a little over 5 miles (total length 14.83 miles) and the maximum width was increased from 700 yards to 1263 yards. The overall rating of EF-2 with estimate peak winds of 115 mph is unchanged.
