Prescott School Board Hires New Superintendent and New Jr. High Principal

The Prescott School Board met to announce the new superintendent and junior high principal. Angie Bryant was chosen as the new superintendent and will take over on an interim basis on May 7th and become full-time on July 1st.
Jeffrey Burton is the new junior high principal.
Both Burton and Bryant spoke to those gathered. Burton spoke about knowing the community from a distance and being glad to get to know it better. He has a wife and a third grade daughter he will be bringing into the community. Bryant spoke about being honored and humbled to serve and thanked the Board for trusting her.
A motion passed to advertise for a new curriculum coordinator to replace Mrs. Bryant.
The regular board meeting is scheduled for April 22nd.
