More Prescott-Nevada County Chamber Banquet Results

Not only were the already mentioned individuals and organizations recognized but there was a good turnout, a lot of good food and it got a little emotional. Jamie Hillery was honored for her 10 years with the Chamber. She said didn’t expect to receive the honor. Nevada School District recognized Caleb Moss as their student of the year, Patty Cole as their Elementary School Teacher, and Eddy Beck for their high school. Principal Carol Foster was there to give all the awards.
Prescott School District recognized Willie Wilson as their educator of the year and Caytlee Poole as their student. Poole was recognized for making the school a better place, her grades and other things. Superintendent Robert Poole got emotional as he talked about her contributions.
Lynn Vanderveer gave the awards for Business leadership, Organization of the Year, Treasure of Gold, Hometown Hero and Citizen of the Year. He said Superintendent Robert Poole had done well in the Community and joked he liked Ashdown less.
There was also a gun raffle and a live auction with many people contributing to the auction.
