Ceasar (Cecil) Brooks 77, of Hope, Arkansas passed away peacefully at his residence on the morning of April 25, 2025, after a brief battle with illness, Ceasar was a caring and fun spirited man and who loved his family and enjoyed having a good time. Ceasar was an avid fisherman and was always willing to share whatever he caught with family and friends.

Ceasar (Cecil) M. Brooks was born in Washington, AR on September 18,1947 to William Brooks and Catherine Muldrew. He attended Lincoln High School in Washington, AR. After school he received his CDL license from Western Trucking School and worked as a truck driver for over 30-years. During his career he worked for many organizations to include PRT Trucking, L.J. Earnest Co, Martin Marretta, R.K. Hall and SRM Concrete.

His passion for truck driver led him to California where he met and married Geneva Mixon. To this union three daughters (Cecelia, TiAnna and LaSandra) were born. He left California and spent a year with his aunt Audella in St. Peter’s, FL before settling in Hope, AR.

In 1989 he married Ella Mae Tidwell and was awarded two special grandsons Jordan Williamson (Brandy) of Prescott, AR and Montez Blake of Hope, AR.

Later Ceasar met Barbara (BJ) Johnson of Hope and formed a union that lasted over 25 years. They remained together until the time of his passing.

Cecil is preceded in death by his father William (Jack) Brooks, and siblings Alvin Muldrew, Eddie Jean Muldrew, and Katherine (Kathy) Muldrew.

Cecil is survived by his loving and devoted life partner Barbara Johnson of Hope, AR. His mother Catherine Muldrew of Houston, TX, Three daughters Cecelia Brooks (Rashad) of Vacaville, CA. TiAnna Brooks of Bay Point, CA. LaSandra Brooks-Jackson (Semaj) of Vallejo, CA. Five bonus children Kenneth Blake of Hope, AR, James Blake of Prescott, AR, Ruth Blake-Cone of Prescott, AR., Steve Tidwell of Hope, AR and Markida Brodie of Oakley, CA. Six brothers and five sisters. William Raglon (Theresa) of Sacramento, CA, Donnell Muldrew of Hope, AR, Unie Muldrew of Hope, AR, Jerry Ray Muldrew of Hope, AR, Ronald Louis Muldrew of Hope, AR, Barbara Sanders of Brentwood, CA, Valerie Muldrew of Houston, TX, Sharon Kay Muldrew of Hope, AR and Phyllis Simoneaux of Houston, TX. Sister in Christ Linda Jones, Sisters in law Mary Davis (Allen Dale), Verda Sanders (Genora), Cathey Sanders (Donnie), Connie Brown (Fredrick), Brothers in law Eddie Gibson (Margie), Johnny Gibson (Phyliss), Earl Gibson (Pauline), Derrick Gibson, Fredrick Brown,

Seventeen grandchildren Paul, Jordan, Darryl Sr., Bre’a, Julius, Montez, Jamarea, Ron’Darius, Alonzo “Poppa”, DariAnna, Darryl III, Tiera, Ter’Rhon, Semajah “Maya”, Twon, Semaj “Hotrod” and Jace. Ten great grandchildren Darryl Jr, Amari, Camden, Daelani, Jaylen, Layla, Mel’Laiyah, Uri, Dreyah and Jacari. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
