DAR Chapter Learns About Yellowstone National Park

John Cain-Benjamin Culp DAR member, Cindi Neweson, presented a great program on the celebration of Yellowstone National Park’s 150th birthday. The park was established in 1872 as the first National Park. Bisson (Buffalo) Roosevelt Elk, Moose, Gray Wolves, Bears, Foxes, Cougars song birds and many other animals, insects and plant life can be found in the park. The park is mostly in Wyoming but some of it spills into Montana and Idaho. Notice the T-shirt that Cindi is wearing. “Don’t pet the fluffy Cows” as a warning of the danger of getting too close to the Buffalos.
