Prescott Students Honored as Kiwanis Honor Students, National Honor Students, and Key Club Membership

Prescott High School students received pins, cards and certificates Tuesday morning (5-20) for meeting the qualifications to be Kiwanis Honor Students, National Honor Students and Key Club members and inductees. Coach Poole opened the assembly sharing that the qualifications for these honors have become more rigorous with higher expectations. He encouraged students to keep up the hard work and continue be the best they can be. Mr. Barbaree announced NHS inductees as they came forward, signed the NHS book that has been signed by students at Prescott High School since 1965 and received their certificate and pin. Mrs. Barbaree spoke to the crowd about the honor of being in the Key Club and be a light and servant in your community. Students were given their certificates, pins and cards by Ms. Reaper. Lastly, Mr. Howard Austin and Mr. Fred Harris presented certificates and bumper stickers to students who were Kiwanis Honor Students. We are proud of the hard work and dedication these students have shown to achieve these goals.
