Jerry Lee Carlton

Jerry Lee Carlton, aged 81, of Hope, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Born on February 26, 1944, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Charles Raymond and Freida Carlton, Jerry lived a life marked by service and dedication. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran, a testament to his courage and commitment to his country. After his military service, Jerry worked as a USDA inspector, where he went on to retire.

Jerry is lovingly remembered by his family, including his daughter Suzanne Jones (Ron) of Hope, his daughter Amanda Agate, and his sister Judy Krik (Jimmy Don) of Prescott. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren, Cassidy Grant and Dustie Faulkner, and two great-grandchildren, Elijah Jones and Carter Lucas. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Judy Ann Carlton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jimmie Carlton, and his granddaughter, Tori Grant.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5-7pm at the Brazzel/Oakcrest chapel.
