Hope Farmers Market

The Hope Farmer’s Market was held on Tuesday morning (6-3) from 7am until 11am. With school out, temperatures climbing, and crops producin,g the farmer’s market has gained vendors and customers. Two vendors returned from being absent for a year. They were Tara Fleming with vegetables and Diane Young with flowers. Produce included tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, blackberries, eggplant, flowers. More than one vendor had flowers. Plants for sale included tomatoes, peppers, fig trees, flowers and a variety of herbs. One of the more unusual herbs was a lettuce leaf basil. Also for sale were jams, honey and homemade bat houses. State Farm insurance hosted the hospitality table.
