Tri-Service Club in Prescott Gives Grants

Several members of Tri-Service Club met at the United Methodist Church in Prescott recently to hand out grant checks.  These grants were given to organizations that focus on the youth in the area.

Marcia Lastier, club president said that around $4000.00 was given in grants. The club raises money for this project by sponsoring a sandwich meal each year.

Organizations receiving grants were Hamilton House, Prescott Parks and Recreation, Nevada County Depot and Museum, Nevada County Library, Ivory Curry Community Outreach, Master Gardeners, O.Y.E.A., chamber of Commerce, Food Share, Prescott Police K-9 Program, Project Graduation and Nevada County 4-H.
