Jonathan Garcia

Jonathan Garcia, aged 25, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. He was born on June 28, 2000, to Doroteo and Yolanda Garcia.
Jonathan attended Hope Public Schools and was a proud graduate of the Class of 2018. Known for his cheerful spirit and kind heart, Jonathan was deeply loved by his peers and made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed spending time with friends, fishing, bowling, singing, and most recently, dedicating himself to the gym, one of his new passions.
Many knew him by John, Mac, or Whopper, but no matter what you called him, his presence brought a sense of peace and serenity. He had a genuinely kind soul and always met life with a smile, offering love and help to those around him, even in difficult times.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his brother, Jose Guadalupe Garcia; his aunt, Rosa Becerra Ramirez; his grandmothers, Maria Salome Ramirez and Flora Garcia; and his grandfathers, Emilio Becerra and Pedro Carrillo.
He is survived by his loving parents, Doroteo and Yolanda Garcia; his brother Erik Garcia; sister Eneyda Carrillo; brothers Alvara Carrillo, Doroteo Carrillo, Isaias Carrillo, and Pedro Carrillo; sister Elimar Carrillo; his beloved partner, Ana Valadez and her family; and his faithful furry companion, Dobby. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 25, 2025, 5pm at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel all night for anyone that would like to pay their respects.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 26, 10am at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope, AR with burial to follow at Memory Gardens.
The family also request that the family to wear all black, jeans and boots like John always dressed along with everyone else wear black shirt.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel Oakcrest the Funeral Home of Hope.
