Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church to Celebrate 151st Anniversary

Dr. Bobby Patterson, President of the Congress of Christian Education of the Consolidated Missionary Baptist State Convention of Arkansas, Inc., will be the guest speaker at the 151st anniversary program of Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church, 702 S. Hazel St., Hope, AR, on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
Dr. Patterson has 43 years of preaching experience; serving 40 of those as a pastor. He holds an Associate in Biblical Studies from Central Christian University, Blytheville, AR and earned both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Lake Chares Bible College, Lake Charles, LA. He also earned a Doctorate in Expository Preaching from CFEBP, Rockwell, NC. Additionally, he has a Certificate of Theology from Arkansas Baptist College, Little Rock, AR and received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the institution.
Dr. Patterson currently serves as an instructor in the Clamp Center for Preaching at Anderson University, Anderson, South Carolina and as pastor of the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Blytheville, AR. He is an accomplished author; having written two books “Principals for Tough Times” and “Biblical Foundation for Leadership”.
Dr. Patterson and his wife, Angela, are the parents of three children and grandparents to six.
