One arrested for possession near McCaskill

MCCASKILL – On the 18th of August 2025 at 3:30 pm, Hempstead County Deputies, Agents with the Probation and Parole Fugitive Task Force, traveled to 4214 Highway 371 East in reference to a parole search.
Upon arrival Agent Reed and Henry spoke with Candice Blake. Agent Reed stated that he was there to perform a parole search. Candice stated that Kevin Cox was not there, so they could not search. Agent Henry then walked to the back bedroom of the residence and conducted a search. The Agents searched a bedside table and allegedly located a black cloth container. Inside the container was allegedly a glass pipe used to inhale methamphetamine and a clear plastic baggie with suspected methamphetamine.
Candice Blake then allegedly stated that the substance and pipe he located belonged to her. Officers then placed Candice Blake into custody. Blake then allegedly advised officers that she had another glass pipe inside a backpack beside the bed. Agents allegedly retrieved a glasses container with a glass pipe used to inhale methamphetamine inside.
Agents transported Blake to the Hempstead County Jail where she was booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
