Dr. Rex Horne Speaks at Calvary Baptist, Long-time Members Honored
Calvary Baptist Church in Hope had a special day on Sunday, August 24.
Dr. Rex Horne of Little Rock brought the message and Mark Hall sang and
led music. Six church members who have been members the longest were
honored for their service. They were: Jean Harris – 68 years
Gilbert Ross – 68 years
Mary Jane Smith – 66 years
Pat Harris – 64 years
Peggy Harris – 58 years
Teresa Ford – 56 years
The scripture for the day was Psalm 33:4 – ” . . . He is faithful.” The service of
these members over the years is proof of the Lord’s faithfulness!
