Deborah Rosenbaum, “Debbie”, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Emmet. Born on November 15, 1956, to Minnie Allene Tye Purtle and Harlon C. Purtle, Debbie was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Laura Mae Mitchell, Ollie Faye Rogers, James Purtle, Johnny Purtle, and Thomas (T-BO) Purtle.
Deborah is survived by her sisters, Lucille Breasley (Frank) and Diann Henson (John). She is also survived by her children: Angela Journagan, Randy Rosenbaum Jr. (Jennifer), Shauna Rampy (Brad), and Alan Smith (Misty). Her grandchildren include Zachary Ferrand (Nicole) & Emilye Korch, Haylee & Luke Rosenbaum, Lexi & Duane Smith, Kaitlyn Holland & Abigail Rampy. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Andrew, Jayden, and Paxten Ferrand. Brother-in-law, Bud Mitchell, sisters-in-law, Delores Purtle and Judy Purtle, along with other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, from 6pm to 8pm at the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 29, at 2pm at the Bluff Springs Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Jerry Evans.
Services are under the direction of the Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
