Romey L. Jackson

Romey L. Jackson, 95, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on August 25, 2025.

Mr. Jackson was born on July 1, 1930, in Whelen Springs, Arkansas to his parents Romey and Janie Story Jackson. After high school he joined the United States Air Force where he entered in June 1947 and retired in January 1970. After retiring from the Air Force, he entered the US Postal Service where he worked for many years.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Venna Jackson, second wife, Barbara Jackson; three sisters, Mary Frances (Jackson) Bradshaw, Gertrude (Jackson) Faber, Leo Katherine (Jackson) Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his four sons, John Jackson, Paul Jackson, Bruce Jackson, Sidney Hollis; one daughter, Cynthia Chance (David); numerous grandchildren; and one sister, Becky Jane (Jackson) Garrett.
