Hempstead County Historical Society Meets

The Hempstead County Historical Society met on Tuesday (8-26) at the Tailgaters Meeting Room in downtown Hope.   Jim Hunter, who is a curator at the Klipsch museum, had some pictures and greeting cards to show.  Mr. Hunter discussed the history surrounding the photos.  Some of the photos depicted buildings that were utilized by the Southwest Proving Grounds during World War II.  Pictures of Fulton were also shown.
