Hope Police announce three felony arrests

On Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, at about 6:21pm, deputies with the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office, acting on a warrant possessed by the Hope Police Department, arrested Jamie Prince, 48 of Hope, AR in the 1000 block of Hempstead County Road 50. Mr. Prince was charged with Robbery, Residential Burglary and Battery 2nd Degree. Mr. Prince was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be held for a first court appearance.

On Friday, August 29th, 2025, at about 1:37pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Kenderick Sanders, 25 of Hope, AR in the 1600 block of West 6th Street. Sanders was charged with Domestic Battery 3rd Degree (Felony) and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility to be held for a first court appearance.

On Friday, August 29th, 2025, detectives with the Hope Police Department arrested Deshawn Bishop, 36 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr. Bishop was charged with Sexual Assault 2nd Degree and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.
