Nevada County Fair Livestock Show

The Nevada County Fair Livestock Show got under Thursday (9-100 morning at 8am.  There was a good crowd on hand to watch the show which started with the swine show.  After the pigs came goats, sheep, cattle, rabbits, and chicken.  It was plain from viewing the animals they had been well-cared for by the exhibitors.

The Premium Sale Buyers Luncheon will be Friday September 12th at noon with the Premium Sale following.  Exhibitors get to keep their animals after the auction.  The buyers are contributing to the exhibitors’ expense in raising and showing their animals.
