Black History Museum donates 25 backpacks with school supplies and a snack to Clinton Primary
WASHINGTON – In a heartwarming display of community support the Ethnic Minority Memorabilia Association, Inc. Black History Museum donated 25 backpacks with school supplies and a snack to William Jefferson Clinton Primary School in Hope to help celebrate the start of the new school year.
The donation, which includes backpacks, crayons, notebook, pencils and a treat, was designed to help ensure every student has the tools needed to start their school year prepared to learn this fall. We believe every child deserves the best possible start to their academic journey, said Dr. Barbara Smith, E.M.M.A.’s Board of Directors President. Supporting students at William Jefferson Clinton Primary helps the Black History Museum achieve its mission to enrich lives and promote learning in the community.
This donation is a part of E.M.M.A, Inc. Black History Museum’s ongoing commitment to supporting educational initiatives and giving back to the community that supports it. The Museum hopes this contribution will not only provide immediate assistance to students but also inspire others to be involved in the future of our coming generations.
