Former Hope Bobcat claims top honors at Hot Springs Bodybuilding Championship

HOT SPRINGS — A familiar face from Hope has made waves in the bodybuilding world. Tycarri “Ty” Rogers, a 2002 graduate of Hope High School and former Bobcat football player, took home multiple titles at the NPC All South Muscle Championships held September 13 at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

Ty competed in three divisions—Masters 40+, Masters 35+, and Open Class—placing first in all three. His dominant performance earned him the prestigious Overall Men’s Physique Championship. The victory puts Ty one step closer to his ultimate goal: earning his Professional Bodybuilding Card.

Ty is no stranger to competition. As a member of the 2000–2002 Hope Bobcat football team, he helped secure the 4A Southwest Championship and a spot in the Arkansas 4A State Championship game. Off the field, his drive carried into academics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and went on to receive his MBA in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Southern California.
