The 2nd Quarter started with another rushing TD from 1 yd out but the extra point was blocked by Trey Hoglund.
On the ensuing kick-off, with 8:05 time on the clock, Noah Cheatham ran the kick-off back for an 88 yd Touchdown for the Cats cutting the lead to 56 – 7
With :50 seconds left in the 2nd quarter, he Rams scored another passing TD but the conversion was no good making the halftime score 62-14.
The first half alone lasted nearly 2 hours.
The second half game clock ran constantly due to the Mercy Rule speeding up play causing the half to last just over 30 minutes.
The only score in the second half was a 2-yard rushing TD by the Rams with the successful extra point, closing out the final score of 69 to 14 Lakeside.
The Bobcats will return home to Hammons stadium hosting the Camden-Fairview Cardinals next Friday night.
