Formby Home Destroyed by Fire

A house fire Thursday (10-30) resulted in a total loss at the Duane and Belinda Formby house in southern Hempstead County.  A number of departments responded including Patmos VFD, Spring Hill VFD, Southeast VFD, Guernsey VFD, and the Boyd Hill VFD.  Also responding was the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department and Pafford.

A fundraiser has been scheduled to benefit the Formby family on November 14th at the Fair Park Community Center from 11am until 2pm.  There will be a dine-in or carry-out hamburger lunch with burgers, baked beans, chips, and drink available by donation.  For deliver you may call 870-703-0344.
