Fulton Town Council

 The Fulton Town Council met on Monday (11-3).  After the prayer, there was a roll call.  All Council members were present.  The Previous meeting’s minutes were reviewed.
The financial statement was presented by Francis Hendrix.  The Street Fund has $44,148.20, the General Fund is at $1,811.91, and the park fund is $1,882.20.
The council voted accept the financial statement as presented.
John Pettit gave the fire department report.  There were 3 calls in October.  The tanker is back in service.  The council voted to accept the fire department report.
Mayor Henry Hale said he wanted to get an ordinance together concerning the water department to provide for the repair of some leaks.
Sylvia Brown with Vote Soar, a community group, was present to ask the city for an update on a project the city secured a grant to replace water lines.  Mayor Hale said all the information he had was that the project should be starting in the spring of 2026.   Ms. Brown asked where she could get the information on what had transpired between her request in 2022 and now.  Mayor Hale said he would have her information by December 1st.
Mayor Hale said that since Arkansas has been classified as a disaster area, due to a recent tornado, he has met with FEMA.  He said it would cost over $45,000 to redo the drainage system.
