Det. Singleton said 90% of the crime in Hope is domestic violence. This includes Domestic Battery, Domestic Battery 1st Degree and aggravated assault on a family or household member. He notes family or household member can include a spouse, former spouse, parent, child, stepchild, children of relatives, and people who have cohabitated
Det. Singleton’s program was concise and full of facts. He stayed around after the program to answer questions from the club members.
