Becky Hood Announces Campaign for Hempstead County Circuit Clerk

To my family, friends and the residents of Hempstead County, I have officially filed my paperwork and I am announcing my candidacy as the Republican Candidate for Circuit Clerk of Hempstead County.  My name is Becky Hood, I was born and raised in Hope, I have been married to my husband Joe Hood for 37 years and we have 3 daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I am the daughter of J. D. and Paula Raschke. We are members of Old Liberty Community Church. I graduated from Hope High School and also had the privilege of being in the first graduating class with the Associate program from UACCH(known now as UAHT) with my Associates Degree in Business Management. I was self employed for about 20 years as a graphic designer.  I have been employed with the courthouse since 2019, I started in the County Clerk’s office and I am currently a Deputy Clerk in the Circuit Clerk’s office. Since being in this office I have learned several aspects of the court system, maintaining court records, case files and electronic filing also recording of deeds, mortgages and other legal documents.
I would be honored for your support and vote as the Republican Candidate for the Circuit Clerk of Hempstead County.
