Edna (Eddie) Haynes Gibson Glidewell, 88, of Texarkana

Edna (Eddie) Haynes Gibson Glidewell, born on August 24, 1937, gained her heavenly wings on November 14, 2025. She passed away peacefully at McKee Assisted Living and Golden care in Texarkana, TX.

Eddie was known for her love of singing and is now singing in the heavenly choir. She moved to Gallatin, Tennessee many years ago where she owned a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio. Eddie also had a gospel ministry, traveling around to share her love of gospel music.

She is predeceased by her grandson, Tommy Gibson. Eddie is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Ridgdill and Vhonda Davidson, and her son, Tony Gibson, along with his wife Robbie Gibson.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Colton Davidson (Brinkley), Hunter O’Haver (Jennifer), Tracy Ramsey, and Gray O’Haver, as well as several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, sisters, nieces, and nephews who reside out of state.

A very special thank you is extended to Stacy McKee and her staff at McKee Assisted Living and Golden care for their loving care of Eddie, affectionately known as ‘Hollywood’, from the day she moved in until her passing.
