HOPE – The Hempstead County Extension Homemakers Council presented a check to the Hope Downtown Network Executive Director, Beckie Moore, and Board President, Steve Harris, during the council’s regular meeting today. The funds donated were raised through the sale of cupcakes during the 3rd Annual Taste of Hope event held in October.

“We are grateful for the Hempstead County Extension Homemakers Council and their ongoing willingness to support projects, activities, and events that strengthen our historic downtown,” said Beckie Moore. “Their generosity helps us create meaningful, community-driven events and allows us to continue the revitalization efforts that benefit the entire community.”

Board President Steve Harris added, “Community partnerships, like this, make Hope special. The Extension Homemakers Council embodies the spirit of service to others.”

The Hope Downtown Network extends its appreciation to the Hempstead County Extension Homemakers Council for their continued partnership and community support.
