76th Annual Hope Lions Club Auction Set for December 4th, 5th, and 6th at Fair Park Coliseum

The 76th annual Hope Lions Club Christmas Auction is set for December 4th, 5th, and 6th at Hope’s Fair Park Coliseum.  The auction raises money to purchase Christmas food baskets for needy families in Hempstead County.  Any excess money goes back into the community for the Lions’ local projects.

The auction will be held each evening at 6pm.  It should go to 9pm the first night, until about 10pm the second night, and until everything is sold on Saturday night.

In addition to the auction, the Evening Lions will staff a concession stand each evening with homemade favorites such as chicken & dumplins, chili, soup, and homemade desserts.

The public is invited to attend.
