Beronica Toliver-Parrish announces for Nevada County Tax Assessor

My name is Beronica Toliver-Parrish most of you know me as Mrs. Bea. I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Nevada County Tax Assessor in the upcoming election for 2026.

I am running as an independent because I am not beholden to any party or establishment and want to represent the community’s needs first. I am for all the citizens of Nevada County.

I have worked in the Assessor’s office for the last 6 1/2 years under the wonderful leadership of Pam Box who has been the Assessor for the last 28 years and this extensive experience has given me the skills and knowledge needed to manage office operations, address taxpayers concerns and maintain accurate public records. I am excited for this journey in the upcoming months and I thank you all for your support and I look forward to meeting more of you and earning your vote to be the next Nevada Co. Tax Assessor.
