Betty Fern McCarty – Updated

Betty Fern McCarty, Born Sept 19, 1931, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025. Betty was born in Tucson, Arizona and later moved with her family to a farm in Blevins, Arkansas. She moved to Little Rock where she attended Capital City Business College and met her husband

She is preceded in death by her parents Hilary and Nell Nolen; her husband Charles; her two brothers, Boyce Nolen, Wallace Nolen and Sister, Lois McQuire.

Betty leaves behind her sister Jobeth Wright (Don), her two sons, Patrick (Kaye) and Dennis. Four grandchildren: Matthew (Colby), Christopher (Kaitlen), Shannon Combee (Brandon) and Ross McCarty and 9 great grandchildren: Vivienne, Chandler, Micah, Hadley, Grayden, Audrey, Harrison and Masen.

Betty loved to travel. She spent much of her retired life working as a volunteer at Conway Regional Hospital and at the food pantry at Salem Methodist Church where she was a member.

Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

The family would like to thank her care givers over the last three years that showed her so much love and kindness.

Graveside service will be Saturday, December 13, 2025, 11 am at Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/OAKCREST, the Funeral
home of Hope.
