Christmas holiday roundup

Nevada and Blevins showed their Christmas spirit this week with holiday music. Nevada had posted videos of a band with Santa hats, the fourth graders performing Rocking Around the Christmas tree and the third graders performing Most Famous Reindeer of All.

At Blevins Mr. Kennedy presented his Pre K-3 program with students wearing reindeer hats or elf costumes.

Blevins has pictures of Hornets participating in Holiday Spirit Week while Nevada has posted a cookies with Santa event at the library.

Spring Hill has pictures posted of Deck the Desk with students decorating their desks with Christmas themes such as lights, elves. trees or candy cane stripes.

Both Hope and Nevada had information about food drives with Hope continuing the Fill the Bus campaign with food donated to Hope in Action. Nevada Cub Scouts brought in food for the Blue Jay Food Pantry.

As well as having an upcoming Battle of the Bands event posted Prescott has more pictures of their 1971 Basketball team. Blevins recognizes a player for their hoop shooting ability. Both Nevada and Blevins have holiday tournaments posted (Lake Hamilton and Mineral Springs and Cougar Classic.)
